Enrollment
Applications are accepted year-round. We recommend applying early if you know that you are interested in Key Explorers Preschool and Early Childcare Center. An application will be considered complete when all essential paperwork is completed.
Enrollment Process
We welcome your interest in our schools. Please schedule a tour to learn more about us.
On the day of your visit, a Director will meet with parents/guardians and will conduct a tour of the school and answer questions. At the close of the tour, parents may submit an application for their child.
Once enrollment is offered, the down payment and registration fee are due.
Tuition
Key Explorers features a year-round program. There are schedule options from 2, 3, or 5 full days for toddlers and preschoolers. The program for kindergarteners is 5-day.
Weekly fees are due by 5:30 p.m. each Monday for the upcoming week. Full weekly payment is expected regardless of attendance or days the school is closed for weather or holidays. Fees may be paid by automatic payment, credit card or money order. Checks or cash are not accepted at the school.
There is a non-refundable Registration Fee of $75.
Monthly Discounts
Parents interested in month-in-advance payments will receive a discount. These non-refundable payments are due no later than the last business day, prior to the month of attendance. Please contact our Center Directors for specific details.
Financial Assistance (CCAP/sliding scale)
As a nonprofit charitable organization, Key Explorers Preschool and ECC is committed to supporting families’ access to quality early childhood programming. We offer a sliding scale and discounts for families including Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).

Child Care Contribution Tax Credit
Colorado residents can have 50% of their contribution to Key Explorers deducted from their Colorado state income taxes. Please see below link to view the official guidance:
