Cheyenne Dell Range Center Director

Hi and welcome to Key Explorers Preschool and Early Childhood Center. My name is Sabra Nation, and I am excited to be the Director of Key Explorers! I have been in Early Childhood Education since I was in high school. I obtained my Child Development Associates from the Council for Professional Recognition and my Director Credential from the State of Wyoming Department of Family Services. In my 25-plus years of experience in this field and have held many titles, but the best ones are Ms. Sabra and NaNa!

I am passionate about children learning and feeling positive about themselves. The best gift a teacher can give a child is a positive image of him/herself. They must know they are amazing, strong, and loved and can achieve a goal by trying hard and following through! In addition, I believe including their family in this endeavor is crucial for their success!

I have been married to my husband since 1999. I have two boys. Allen is 30 and has the best grandson any NaNa could ask for. He is four years old and amazing! Alex is 15, and since we adopted him, he has taught me grace and patience, sometimes frustration. Not frustration at him but for the lack of grace people have for beautiful kids that have struggles that make them different. Alex is Autistic! He sees the world differently sometimes, which has made us stop and see it from his point of view! This helps me be a better teacher and human every day!

I look forward to working with a fantastic group that shares my passion for giving children a foundation for learning and kindness! We want them to succeed academically and socially!
