Explorers Before and After School Program

Ages 5 to 12 years

Working parents often need childcare before or after regular K-12 school hours. Key Explorers Preschool offers before and after-school programs for those busy working parents. Please check individual centers for opening and closing times.

Preschool students attending the before-school program will participate in table activities designed to develop fine motor skills, concentration, and free choice activities that encourage curiosity and teach basic problem-solving until 9 AM. There is one-to-one attention from teachers and a special emphasis on helping our youngest students develop social skills. The afternoon extended day program includes quiet table activities and games, outdoor fun and physical education, a daily craft project, and ends on an entertaining note with stories, dramatic play, movement, and music.

Our extended care for elementary school students provides teacher assistance and a structured environment for students to complete daily assignments. In addition to homework assistance, students participate in arts and crafts projects and various STEAM activities. To round out the program, students also spend time outside on the playground after school.
